The Star- Mighty Minds Challenge.

Yesterday was a really shocking day. I represented my school for a science competition (The Star and RHB-Mighty Minds) Its a competition to test your knowledge of science and General Knowledge. I didn't intended to go coz i was like forced by my parents and my teacher to go. So, 12 of us went to Seremban Parade yesterday morning.

Two groups for F123 and Two for F45. I was in the second group of my school with 2 other boys, Pravind and Nafis. Mag was in the group A with vinod and Faiz. We reached Seremban parade at about 9 something. We were really nervous and scared coz most of the students who were taking part all looked so smart compared to us. :S. But no worries, we gathered inside the mall and sat down on the floor.

The first part of the RHB-The Star Mighty Minds challenge required the teams to answer 20 quiz questions based on science and maths principles and general knowledge using interactive keypads. And it wasn't anything cool. Just a keypad with ABCDE (12345) . My team scored 170/200 as there were 20 questions. And mag's team 140/200. Both our teams made it into the final 30 teams. And my team was number 12 :D.

The questions were quite easy and only had 3 general knowledge questions. One of them were How much points did Anoop from American Idol get ... blablabla.. " I forgot the questioned already. After that we went back to the hotel and at 1.45 we went back for the 2nd challenge. the hands-on challenge required us to make a cylindrical advertisement model which can be rotated manually. We were blank headed when we received the question. Our heads were blank and we didn't know what to do. But thankfully we finished our project .

My team was really lucky coz we were selected in the Top-6. And we were called to explain how our model works. Thank god pravind was the good crapper and he answered all the questions. We waited till it was 6 and went back to listen to the results. When they announced the 2nd runner up (which wasn't us) we were like... we sure wont get anything already. And ... When it was the first runner up. The guy was like... :" SMK TUNKU BESAR, TAMPIN!! " and... yeah. We won RM2000! Cold Hard Cash. Rm666.60 for each of us . We were so damn excited and happy.

The Hilton!

Long time i never update already. Hehe. My friends asked me to update today so.. since i have nothing to do.. I'll write about what happen last week.Last friday was so so soooo fun ! Really really fun. My parents went to KL on thursday night and i had to stay over at mag's house. Aunty Goh's cooking was really nice and delicious. And i loved her tao geh laaaa. Teehee. :D . Anyways, my dad bought 3 tickets to KL central for ahma , me and ping.

And yeah, we sat on the train ourselves. And we were camwhoring in the train, singing in the train and playing with a little kid in the train. The people beside us was like... "uh..are they crazy?" .. and yeah we were so high and crazy coz we were going to stay in The Hilton. NO WRONG! THE HILTON HOTEL. hehe. A room for 3 of us. Cool right? :D Reached the train station at about 10somthing and 3 of us went to our room.

Damn big lah the room. I've been to the hilton and i still remembered how it was! Hehe.. There was a small TV in the toilet, big plasma tv in the room, a lot of big big mirrors and a big bed! Then central was just like not even 1km away from the hotel. So we went to McD's and bought ourselves supper. And i was the only one who played in the bathtub that night.

Went shopping the next day and i bought a pair of new Converse shoes :D. Weee. so happy lah! Cost me RM120 le! Bought a pair of slippers for RM30 also. Had McD's for breakfast, Zen for lunch and Sushi King for dinner. We watched "Confessions of a shopaholic" . Really nice show but we were sitting in the 2nd row. Our head was liked sooooooooo painful after the show. What i bought the whole day in midvalley:


We used up like about RM200+ on our breakfast,lunch and dinner. So, total is about RM450 for the whole trip lo. And yeah, we walked in midvalley the whole day. After going back to the hotel, we were playing with my nail polish and 3 of us squeezed into the bath tub that night and eat our popcorn and snacks in the water.

Ate McD's again the next morning and camwhored till we were suppose to check out. We also went to the swimming pool and took some photos but not the pool. Went to IOI mall for lunch and i HATE IOI MALL! Compared to midvalley, it totally sucks. Went back home after that and yeahhhhhhh i enjoyed my weekend! :D
